Welcome to the 10th edition of the oldest and best-established conference on composite construction for buildings and bridges. This conference provides a forum for practitioners and researchers to present their latest results and their implementation in design codes, as well as a unique opportunity to network with colleagues around the world.
The conference is intentionally kept small (less than 100 attendees) so please respond to the interest form at your earliest convenience to indicate your interest in attending.
Co-sponsored by Virginia Tech, Iowa State University, Northeastern University and The American Institute of Steel Construction

On behalf of the Organizing and Scientific Committees of CCX, welcome to the 10th International Conference on Composite Construction in Steel and Concrete. The conference will take place from Sunday, July 27 to Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at Semiahmoo Resort in Blaine, WA (USA).
The conference follows a particular format that includes morning and evening sessions and free afternoons for participants to network and discuss topics of common interest. The conference is intentionally small (less than 100 participants) and held at a secluded location to maximize interactions; thus, we kindly request that you fill a statement of interest as soon as possible and by December 2, 2024 at the latest to reserve a space. Abstracts are due December 6, 2024.
The conference requires that all participants present a paper, and has served in the past as a fertile exchange between participants from all over the world. This edition of the conference extends the coverage from steel and concrete composite structures to ones incorporating wood and FRPs.
Thank you for your interest in participating in the conference and we look forward to seeing you in northwestern Washington in July!!!
